			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Sarnath </strong>is one of the four most important Bhuddhist pilgrimage centres of India. <strong>Bhudda</strong>, <a href="http://www.tourismvaranasi.org"><img src="http://www.tourismvaranasi.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/Sarnath.jpeg" alt="" title="Sarnath" width="160" style="padding-left:13px;" height="120" class="alignright size-full wp-image-116" /></a>the great sage, after. attaining enlightenment (Bhudda-hood) at Bodh gaya came to Sarnath and delivered his first sermon to five disciples (i.e. Kaundinya, Bashpa, Bhadrika, Mahanaman and Ashvajit) for redeeming humanity. It is this place where foundation of a new order of monks (Sangha) and a new order of religious doctrine (Dhamma) was laid. Sarnath is also sacred to the Jains because they look upon it as the site of asceticism and death of Shreyamshanath, the 11th <strong>Trithankara</strong>.</p>

<td class="matter">Ramnagar Fort lies 14km from Varanasi.It is the ancestral home of  Maharaja of Banaras.Maharaja Balwant Singh built this fort place in 18 century.Ramnagar Fort has     a museum and a temple within the grounds and the temple is dedicated to Ved Vyasa,who wrote Mahabharata, the great Indian epic. The most important construction inside the fort is the famous &lsquo;Hall of public audience. The architecture of Ramnagar Fort is the finest example of Indian as well as Islamic styles of architecture.<br />
               Sarnath is one of the most famous pilgrimage places for the Buddhists in Varanasi.  The celebrated Mantra, &lsquo;Buddha Sharanam Gachhami&rsquo;, owes its origin to Sarnath.Buddha got enlightenment in Bodh Gaya, and then he came to Sarnath.He delivered his first sermon in deer park. Sarnath along with Lumbini, Bodh Gaya and Kushinagar was included by Buddha before his death as the four places he thought to be sacred to his followers.<br />
                  Sarnath is one of the most respected Buddhist places. Besides Sarnath is also connected with Jainism. There are many monuments at Sarnath which are divided into two sections. Under section &lsquo;A&rsquo; Chaukhandi Stupa and under section&lsquo;B&rsquo;all other monuments at the sites. The Ashok pillar of Sarnath is the national emblem of India. The emperor Ashoka who spread Lord Buddha&rsquo;s message of love and compassion in his life time.  Sarnath was visited by Ashoka around 234 B.C.and he erected a stupa here.
